Angel Chung Cutno uses beads, bones, bronze, found materials and sounds to create art that embodies her experiences as an Afro-Asian woman. The through-line of her work is her hair and the wildness and beauty of being a woman with an afro.

Throughout her world travels, she regularly finds bones awaiting life to be breathed into them, and Angel responds by continuing their stories in new forms.
